I hate that question. I know for sure my blog, which I don't contribute much anymore, gets backed up everyday, because I get the notifications. But my hard drive? My photos? My phone? I think so, but now I'm plagued with insecurity....
I get it--I hated it too! And that got me moving. I guess there's nothing like abject fear as a motivator! I'm telling you, the relief you'll feel is worth the $80 and the time it takes to back up to an external drive. DO IT! 😊
It had to be done!🔥 Thanks for the impetus for the whole post--and I also got a lot out of your Craft Talks webinar I'd forgotten I had. I'm going to go back and watch it again soon. 😊
I can't say I'm digitally responsible, but I can say that I'm digitally neurotic. I save to a hard drive, to the Apple cloud and to Dropbox. And I've yet to go through those files and folders to see what I can get rid of. One day....xo
A lot my stuff is old work files/clients. How long to keep those things? When I have a minute, I'll get to it, but not high on my list of priorities at the moment! xo
I've been paying to keep all of my work emails and documents in the cloud since I retired. Why? I haven't looked at them in years. Someday I'll go through them.

I love this so much!! Excavating our files can be so rewarding and I love the discoveries you made. Printing something to burn it 😂🔥🔥🔥

Whatever gets the job done! I do recommend going through your old files as a creative scavenger hunt for your own writing.

Let's get together and do that. I still have plenty to go through and I bet we'll have some laughs while we're at it!
