First of all Lisa, I LOVE THE TITLE OF your Substack! The Someday Times is brilliant! So happy to see that you have made your someday today. This is inspiring me! Someday I will write a novel about a true story from Norway that really has touched me, but that has to be fictionalized. It feels daunting to tackle a historical fiction project, and I hope that someday will happen.

Hooray! I love the whole idea of someday, although I'm too old to have one. My someday is every fucking day. or not at all. Looking forward to yours!

Thanks, Abby! And yes, the idea is that someday is today, every fucking day. You are just more tuned in to it than most of us. That's why we appreciate your writing about it so much!

Thanks so much, Nina! I love your idea and I wonder if there's one quick thing you could do TODAY that moves you even an inch closer to that goal. Maybe a quick search for a book, workshop, or resource pertaining to historical fiction to start learning about that aspect. The writing part I already know you have down because I've read your book!
